For Elevar to make an impact, there has to be an efficient back office structure that integrates seamlessly with the vision

Darshana Kumar

Darshana joined Elevar in 2009 as the Office Manager and believes that “In order for Elevar to make an impact on the wider community, there has to be an efficient back office structure in place which will allow the organization to concentrate on reaching out to the underprivileged and have the maximum impact where required.” Her goal, therefore, is to ensure smooth functionality, through an effective and efficient support structure at all times.

Prior to joining Elevar, Darshana spent 9 years with Praxair India Private Limited, an industrial gas supplier in India headquartered in Bangalore, working with cross functional teams and the senior management. Her job gave her insights into building and maintaining a support ecosystem that allowed the businesses she supported to focus on their goals and objectives.

Darshana completed her schooling from Baldwin Girls High School and The Hasnath College for Women in Bangalore. She also dabbles in interior designing which continues to be a hobby even today.

Darshana was a national level swimmer and a triathlete and won many competitions at the state and national level.
